Anti-terror operation against PKK/KCK in Istanbul
In Istanbul, 18 suspects identified as planning street protests on behalf of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization have been apprehended and taken into custody.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Terror Crimes Investigation Bureau has launched an investigation into 25 suspects identified as being involved in the so-called youth and political wing structures of the PKK terrorist organization.
It was revealed that the suspects were planning various street protests in Istanbul, primarily involving Molotov cocktails.
Following the detention warrants issued by the prosecutor's office, 18 suspects were apprehended in an operation launched by teams from the Istanbul Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch.
Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining 7 suspects.
