Appeals Court ruling on Martı TAG
The Istanbul Regional Court of Justice has upheld Martı's appeals, rejecting the Taxi Drivers' Chamber's request to shut down Martı TAG. In the case that lasted 2.5 years, the court defended Martı's legal rights, meaning TAG can continue to be used freely.
The 14th Civil Chamber of the Istanbul Regional Court of Justice (Appeals Court) has ruled in favor of Martı. In the case between Martı and the Taxi Drivers' Chamber that has been ongoing for 2.5 years, Martı's appeals were found to be justified.
According to a statement made by Martı, the Istanbul Taxi Drivers' Chamber's request to shut down Martı TAG was rejected by the Appeals Court. Martı's appeal application was accepted, and it was ruled that the local court's decision was erroneous.

FINDINGS OF THE APPEALS COURT
The Istanbul Regional Court of Justice found the local court's decision to be erroneous for the following reasons:
Martı's objections and defenses were not sufficiently examined and were not reflected in the reports,
Expert reports were incomplete and contradictory,
Reports were not obtained from experts in their fields and the case was not fully clarified,
The principle of equality of parties was not followed and Martı's right to defense was violated,
Decisions made by administrative courts in favor of Martı TAG were ignored,
The decision was made without waiting for the necessary response from the IMM (Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality), violating Martı's right to be heard,
Expert opinions submitted by Martı to the case file were not taken into account,
The court stated that unfair competition could not be determined without addressing these deficiencies and overturned the access ban decision.

Commenting on the matter, Martı TAG Founder Oğuz Alper Öktem said, “The righteous are in no hurry. The enemies of Turkish technology have finally been defeated. The good guys won. Use plenty of Martı TAG.”
