According to a report in Yeniçağ, it has been revealed that Turkish Statistical Institute President Erhan Çetinkaya is married to Expert Psychologist Sümeyra Aydıner, the daughter of former AKP Bayrampaşa Mayor Atilla Aydıner.
With a decision published in the Official Gazette in January 2022, Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) President Prof. Dr. Sait Erdal Dinçer was dismissed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Erhan Çetinkaya was appointed in his place.
