As a result of operations conducted by the Kütahya Provincial Police Department's Anti-Narcotics Branch, 160,000 ecstasy pills weighing 64 kilograms and 890 grams were seized during a search of a vehicle stopped at a checkpoint.

The individual in the vehicle, identified as U.Ö. (23), was taken into custody. In subsequent operations, individuals identified as B.D. (27) and O.D. (34), who were determined to be connected to the suspect, were apprehended along with the vehicle they were in by teams from the Antalya Anti-Narcotics Branch.

The suspects were taken into custody to be handed over to the Kütahya Anti-Narcotics Branch teams.

Meanwhile, it was noted that law enforcement officers spelled out the name of national football player Merih Demiral—who was given a 2-match ban by UEFA for making a 'wolf salute'—on the display stand where the 64 kilograms and 890 grams of ecstasy were exhibited.
