Following the extension of the Ramadan Feast holiday to 9 days, an important statement came from Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu.
Sharing on his social media account, Memişoğlu announced that health services will continue without interruption between April 2 and April 6.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had announced that public personnel would be considered on administrative leave on April 2, 3, and 4, and that the Ramadan Feast holiday had been extended to 9 days.
Following this announcement, the continuity of health services became a matter of curiosity. Minister of Health Memişoğlu made a statement on this matter, noting that health services will continue without disruption on April 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
"UNINTERRUPTED HEALTH SERVICE"
Memişoğlu announced that between April 2-6, following the Ramadan Feast, a total of 367 thousand 870 personnel will be on duty in 933 public hospitals, 120 thousand 852 personnel in the emergency departments of public health facilities, 5 thousand 712 personnel in 163 public oral and dental health facilities, and 1479 teams and 6 thousand 324 personnel in home health care teams.
