ARE SUBWAYS OPEN OR CLOSED TODAY?

In accordance with the decision taken by the Istanbul Governor's Office on March 19, 2025,

The Çağlayan station of the M7 Yıldız-Mahmutbey Metro Line, the Emniyet-Fatih station of the M1 Yenikapı-Atatürk Airport/Kirazlı Metro Line, the Taksim station of the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line, and the Taksim-Kabataş Funicular Line had been temporarily closed until further notice.

Metro Istanbul has announced that the closed metro stations have resumed service.

ARE EMNİYET-FATİH, ÇAĞLAYAN, AND TAKSİM STATIONS RUNNING?

In a statement made on its official social media account, Metro Istanbul included the following remarks:

The Emniyet-Fatih station on the M1 Yenikapı-Atatürk Airport/Kirazlı Metro Line,

The Taksim station on the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line, and the F1 Taksim-Kabataş Funicular Line have been reopened for service.

ROADS CLOSED TO TRAFFIC IN ISTANBUL BETWEEN MARCH 24 - 26, 2025

The Istanbul Governor's Office has announced the roads that will be closed until Wednesday, March 26, and the alternative routes, in line with the security measures it has taken.

In the statement made by the Governor's Office, it was stated that it was decided to close some roads to traffic in addition to the measures taken on March 19.

Within the scope of the new decision, the roads that will be closed to traffic starting from 16:00 on Saturday, March 23, until the measures end, were announced as follows:

"Fevzipaşa Street, Macar Kardeşler Street, 15 Temmuz Şehitler Street, Şehzadebaşı Street, Vezneciler Street, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Paşa Street, Atatürk Boulevard, Coastal Kennedy Street, between Samatya and Sirkeci, Reşadiye Street, Ragıp Gümüşpala Street, and all roads leading to these streets, as well as the Galata Bridge and Atatürk Bridge and all roads leading to them."

In the statement, it was noted that 10. Yıl Street, Namık Kemal Street, Coastal Kennedy Street, and the E-5 D-100 highway could be used as alternative routes for the closed roads.
