An investigation has been launched into the incident in the Bahçe district of Osmaniye, where Salih Aker (29) and Aliye Aker (27), who had been married for approximately 20 days, lost their lives.
The incident occurred at a house in the Bahçelievler neighborhood. According to the information obtained, an argument broke out between the couple for reasons yet to be determined. During the argument, Salih Aker shot his wife, Aliye Aker, with a handgun.
It was stated that after the armed attack, Salih Aker called the 112 Emergency Call Center to report the situation before shooting himself with the same weapon.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. Despite the interventions made by medical teams, Aliye Aker and Salih Aker, who were taken to Bahçe State Hospital, could not be saved.
The couple's bodies were taken to the hospital morgue for autopsy procedures. It was learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
