Arif Kocabıyık, owner of İlave TV, Hasan Köksoy, owner of the Kendine Muhabir channel, and Halil Kürklü, who was arrested due to remarks made during a street interview, have been released.
Kocabıyık was detained on December 5 due to the street interviews he conducted and was sent to prison after being referred to the courthouse a day later.
An investigation had been launched by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding statements containing 'insults against the President' in a conversation published on the İlave TV and Kendine Muhabir pages, which conduct street interviews.
Halil Kürklü, who gave the interview, and Hasan Köksoy, the owner of the Kendine Muhabir channel, were arrested by the court they were brought before.
RELEASE DECISION ISSUED
Arif Kocabıyık and Hasan Köksoy, who were arrested due to the street interviews they conducted, were released after 66 days of detention.
It was reported that Halil Kürklü, who was arrested due to statements he made during a street interview, has also been released.
