Kocabıyık, who was arrested on May 7 on charges of 'insulting the President' and released on May 14, had his release challenged by the Prosecutor's Office, leading to his re-arrest on May 15.

RELEASED
Kocabıyık's lawyer, Ömer Furkan Dağ, who had an indictment prepared and a case filed against him, stated in a post on his social media account: "An indictment has been prepared and a case has been filed against Arif Kocabıyık. The court decided on his release on the grounds that the arrest warrant was 'issued unlawfully,' as we had stated in our objection."
