Armed altercation in hospital courtyard in Gaziosmanpaşa
In Istanbul's Gaziosmanpaşa district, tension erupted among a group that arrived at the hospital following a fight, and shots were fired into the air in the hospital courtyard. Three people were taken into custody.
At the Gaziosmanpaşa Training and Research Hospital during the night, two people injured in an alleged knife fight between two groups were brought to the hospital. While the injured were being treated, individuals from the other group who arrived at the hospital caused a disturbance in the emergency room.
Following a suspect firing a weapon, numerous police teams were dispatched to the scene. Patients' relatives gathered in the hospital courtyard experienced panic upon hearing the successive gunshots.
THREE SUSPECTS DETAINED
While no one was injured in the incident, some of the suspects fled on foot. Police apprehended and detained 3 suspects.
