An armed attack was carried out in a courtroom at the Bursa Courthouse. According to the report by Dinçer Gökçe from Halk TV, an armed clash broke out at the Bursa 6th High Criminal Court.

In the clash between hostile parties, 2 people lost their lives, and 2 gendarmerie personnel were injured.

PUBLICATION BAN IMPOSED

Following the incident, an investigation was launched by the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Within the scope of the investigation, the 6th Criminal Judgeship of Peace issued a publication ban regarding the incident.

10 PEOPLE IN CUSTODY

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, who made a statement on his social media account regarding the incident in which 2 people lost their lives, announced that 10 people have been taken into custody.

Minister Tunç shared the following:

"A judicial investigation has been initiated by the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the armed attack that occurred in the Bursa Courthouse courtroom. Within the scope of the investigation, the suspect K.E., the father of the complainant, who caused the death of 2 parties to the incident and the injury of 2 of our gendarmerie law enforcement officers by using a firearm, has been apprehended along with the weapon he used, and 10 people, including those who assisted the suspects and those evaluated to have had negligence in the incident, have been taken into custody. The investigation is being conducted in a multi-faceted and meticulous manner."
