Armed attack in Kağıthane! Fired shots into the air at a bus stop

A terrifying incident occurred on the afternoon of November 27 in the Kağıthane district of Istanbul, at the IETT bus platform area in 4. Levent. Around 15:30, a car entered the bus stop area, and an individual inside pulled a gun from their waistband and fired 2 shots into the air.

The suspect who fired the shots had these moments recorded on a mobile phone camera by a friend accompanying them. After firing, the suspect quickly got into the car and fled the scene.

THE DRIVER REACTED

Immediately after the incident, a bus driver at the platform shared the footage they had captured on their mobile phone on social media, expressing their reaction to the situation. They described the events in astonishment, saying, "These guys fired a gun in broad daylight and are driving away."

The suspect, who caused great panic in the area where the gunshots echoed, fled the scene rapidly. Following the incident, the Istanbul Police Department took action and began reviewing security cameras in the area.
