Armed attack on Ali Osman Ulusoy Group Chairman
In Trabzon, Ali Osman Ulusoy Group Chairman Murat Seymen was wounded in an armed attack while walking to his workplace through a side street.
The incident occurred around noon today on Tiyatro Street in the İskenderpaşa neighborhood.
According to the information received, Ali Osman Ulusoy Group Chairman Murat Seymen (46) was subjected to an armed attack by Y.C.K. (23), who approached him while he was walking toward his workplace in Atatürk Square.
Seymen fell to the ground covered in blood after being struck by bullets in his knee, while the assailant fled the scene on foot.
Following Seymen's emergency call, health and police teams arrived at the scene. After receiving initial medical intervention, the wounded man was taken by ambulance to the Karadeniz Technical University (KTÜ) Farabi Hospital. It was learned that Murat Seymen's life is not in danger, and the police, who have begun reviewing security camera footage from businesses in the area, have launched an operation to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
