Armed attack on building owned by Erden Timur: They rained bullets

An armed attack was carried out on the Levent building of APA NEF, owned by Erden Timur, who was arrested on December 29, 2025, on charges of "laundering assets derived from crime (money laundering)" after his file was separated following his detention as part of the football betting investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

THEY RAINED BULLETS DURING THE NIGHT

According to journalist Çağdaş Evren Şenlik, the armed attack took place during the night. Bullets hitting the building during the attack caused some windows to shatter. The building sustained damage.

While security units determined that the attackers had changed the license plate of the vehicle used in the incident, a large-scale investigation has been launched into the matter.

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had launched a large-scale operation regarding allegations that numerous individuals, including footballers, referees, and former club executives, were involved in illegal betting.

Erden Timur, the former Deputy Chairman of Galatasaray Sportif A.Ş., who was detained as part of the investigation and whose file was separated after prosecution procedures, was arrested by the court on charges of "laundering assets derived from crime."
