Armed attack on DEM Party office!

DEM Party's district organization office was targeted in an armed attack. According to the information obtained, the attack took place in the morning hours in the Meydan neighborhood of Birecik district.

14 BULLETS HIT THE BUILDING

It was learned that 14 bullets hit the windows of the office during the attack.

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

Police teams arriving at the scene have launched an investigation to identify the person or persons who carried out the attack.

It was noted that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.

STATEMENT FROM THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE

The Şanlıurfa Governor's Office issued a statement regarding the armed attack on the DEM Party office in Birecik district.

The statement made by the Şanlıurfa Governor's Office is as follows:

“It has been determined that bullets hit the Birecik DEM Party district building located on Dr. Abdulkadir Erdil Street in the Meydan neighborhood of our Birecik district around 03:00 on 08.07.2024, and efforts to identify and apprehend the perpetrator are ongoing. The necessary investigation has been initiated, and the matter is being closely followed by our Governor's Office. The public will be informed of any developments.”
