Armed attack on journalist Azim Deniz!

Azim Deniz was subjected to an armed attack around 08:30 in the parking lot of a 13-story building on Karasu Street in the Mimarsinan neighborhood of the Kocasinan district.

Deniz, who is the owner of a local newspaper and television station, left his home to go to work and headed toward his vehicle. At that moment, an unidentified person followed Deniz and wounded him with a handgun. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The wounded journalist was taken to Kayseri State Hospital by ambulance for initial treatment and was subsequently transferred to Kayseri City Hospital.

THE SUSPECT FOLLOWED HIM

It was stated that Azim Deniz's health condition is good.

Meanwhile, the moment journalist Deniz left his home was captured on security cameras. In the footage, it can be seen that Deniz was heading toward his vehicle and was being followed by the suspect who later wounded him with a handgun. 

The police have launched an investigation to apprehend the suspect.
