Armed fight in Nevşehir: Father and son dead

In the Derinkuyu district of Nevşehir, Recep D. encountered Hamza Taş, his son Şahin Taş, and his nephew Murat Taş, with whom he had a prior feud for unknown reasons.

As the argument that took place on the road turned into a fight, Recep D. opened fire on the other party with a handgun he was carrying.

Upon notification, police, medical, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.

While father Hamza Taş lost his life at the scene, his son Şahin Taş, who was being transported to the hospital by ambulance, also passed away on the way.

Murat Taş was taken under treatment at Nevşehir State Hospital.

Following the investigation by the Crime Scene Investigation teams and the prosecutor, Hamza Taş's body was taken to the Derinkuyu District State Hospital morgue for an autopsy.

It was learned that Recep D., who left the scene in his vehicle, went to the District Police Department and surrendered.
