It was stated that the person who entered the building with a weapon claimed that his wife, who works there as a security guard, was at the workplace, and that the suspect alleged sports commentator Güntekin Onay had insulted his wife. The suspect stated that he wanted to speak with Onay face-to-face.
DEMANDED AN APOLOGY
The individual, identified as Kemal S., demanded that the commentator apologize to him. As a result of the negotiations conducted by police teams, Kemal S. was persuaded.
At the end of the process, which lasted approximately half an hour, the suspect was removed from the building, taken into custody, and transported to the police station.
