Armed resistance against police teams in Cide: Suspects released
In the Cide district of Kastamonu, two individuals who resisted police teams by drawing a weapon slightly injured 3 police officers during the ensuing scuffle. The detained individuals were released under judicial control. The moments of the incident were recorded by citizens.
The incident occurred last night on the Bartın-İnebolu highway in the Cide district. Teams from the Cide District Police Department arrived at the port area following a report. T.D. and M.E.D., who were present at the scene, resisted the police teams for unknown reasons.
During the scuffle, it was stated that one of the individuals drew a weapon on the police teams and issued threats, while the other attempted to exert pressure by saying, "I've marked you." As the incident escalated, reinforcement police teams were dispatched to the area. With the intervention, T.D. and M.E.D. were taken into custody.
During the incident, police officers M.H.M., G.M.D., and S.G. were slightly injured by blows to various parts of their bodies. The injured police officers were taken to the hospital after the incident, but it was reported that they are in good health.
The detained individuals were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station. The court released the individuals under judicial control. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
