11 people, including Mayor Bora Balcıoğlu, who were detained in the Silivri Municipality operation, have been referred to court with a request for arrest.
As part of a 'corruption' investigation conducted by the Silivri Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an investigation was launched into Silivri Municipality regarding allegations of 'establishing and managing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes, being a member of an organization', 'bribery', 'extortion', 'influence peddling', 'misconduct in office', 'rigging tenders', 'rigging the performance of obligations', 'causing zoning pollution', and 'laundering assets derived from crime'.
The prosecutor's office statements of the individuals detained in the Silivri Municipality operation have concluded.
11 people, including Mayor Bora Balcıoğlu, were referred to court with a request for arrest. Judicial control measures were requested for 7 other individuals.
