Arrest request for 7 suspects in the murder of footballer Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı

The investigation into the murder of Kars36 Spor footballer Kubilay Kaan Kundakçı in Ümraniye continues.

Kundakçı lost his life after being subjected to an armed attack during a meeting he attended to reconcile rapper Vahap Canbay and singer Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu. Kundakçı's funeral was held yesterday in his hometown of Sakarya.

Police teams, who launched an investigation to shed light on the murder, had taken a total of 10 suspects into custody, including Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, her mother Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu, and folk singer İzzet Yıldızhan.

Eight suspects, including Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, Zuhal Kalaycıoğlu, and Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, were referred to the Kartal Anatolian Courthouse in the morning hours after their procedures at the police station were completed.

One of the suspects, B.K., was released without any judicial control measures following their statement to the prosecutor's office.

Seven suspects, including Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu, Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu, and İzzet Yıldızhan, were referred to the duty criminal judgeship of peace with a request for their arrest.
