Arrest request for Erdal Beşikçioğlu
Etimesgut Mayor Erdal Beşikçioğlu has been referred to court with a request for his arrest.
As part of the investigation conducted by the Ankara West Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the Etimesgut Municipality, 44 out of 55 suspects have been referred to the duty magistrate judge with a request for arrest, while 10 have been referred with a request for judicial control (signature requirements and a travel ban).
It was learned that one suspect is currently receiving treatment in the hospital as part of the investigation.
