Arrest request for Muhittin Böcek
The prosecutor's office has referred Muhittin Böcek to the court with a request for his arrest.
As part of the investigation numbered 2025/60355 conducted by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, proceedings have been initiated against Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek, his son Mustafa Gökhan Böcek, and his former daughter-in-law Zeynep Kerimoğlu on charges of bribery.
The questioning of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek and his former daughter-in-law Zeynep Kerimoğlu, who were detained as part of the 'bribery' investigation conducted by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has been completed at the Antalya Police Department.
Mayor Böcek was transferred to the courthouse in a police vehicle. The vehicle carrying Böcek, who was taken out through the protocol entrance instead of the door where journalists were waiting, arrived at the Antalya Courthouse.
Muhittin Böcek has been referred to the judgeship with a request for his arrest.
Muhittin Böcek's former daughter-in-law Zeynep Kerimoğlu was released under judicial control measures, including a travel ban.
