Arrest warrant issued for hotel owner and employee in Böcek family deaths
In the investigation into the deaths of the Böcek family, an arrest warrant has been issued for the hotel owner and an employee who were previously released under judicial control.
Following an appeal, an arrest warrant has been issued for the hotel owner and the receptionist, who were released under judicial control yesterday evening as part of the investigation.
THE INCIDENT
The incident occurred on November 12 at a hotel located in Fatih.
Servet and Çiğdem Böcek, who arrived in Istanbul from Germany, had begun staying at the hotel in Fatih with their children, Kadir Muhammet and Masal.
During the night, mother Çiğdem Böcek found her daughter Masal unresponsive. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the hotel.
Masal Böcek, one of the children taken to the hospital, and subsequently her older brother Kadir Muhammet, lost their lives.
Mother Çiğdem Böcek passed away in the hospital where she had been taken, two days after the death of her children.
The father also passed away recently.
