Arrest warrants issued for 7 influencers in illegal betting operation
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued arrest warrants for social media influencers Yasin Obuz, Mesut Can Eray, Cenk Pekkan, Ünal Orhan, Özgür Yağan, Kerem Gülsoy, and Özcan Acar as part of an investigation into illegal betting.
The investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into allegations of illegal betting advertising and promotion continues.
Following the house arrest of Serdar Ortaç and Mehmet Ali Erbil as part of the investigation, an arrest warrant was also issued today for Yasin Obuz, known for his participation in the MasterChef and Survivor competitions.
Following this, the prosecutor's office conducting the investigation requested that arrest warrants be issued for social media influencers Yasin Obuz, Mesut Can Eray, Cenk Pekkan, Ünal Orhan, Özgür Yağan, Kerem Gülsoy, and Özcan Acar.
Evaluating the request, the criminal judgeship of peace issued arrest warrants for the suspects.
