As convention debates continue in CHP, Lütfü Savaş prepares a 'formal notice'!
As convention debates continue within the CHP, TGRT Haber Ankara Representative Fatih Atik has claimed that former Hatay Metropolitan Mayor Lütfü Savaş will issue a formal notice to the CHP Headquarters through his lawyer, stating that a "convention cannot be held." According to the claim, the notice will demand that no convention process be initiated until ongoing legal proceedings are concluded.
Following the appointment of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu to the position of CHP Chairman by court order, debates regarding a convention within the party continue. As a new claim regarding the extraordinary convention process has emerged, TGRT Haber Ankara Representative Fatih Atik alleged that former Hatay Metropolitan Mayor Lütfü Savaş will issue a "convention cannot be held" formal notice to the CHP Headquarters.

Formal notice from Lütfü Savaş to CHP Headquarters:
“You cannot hold a convention”
Former Hatay Metropolitan Mayor LÜTFÜ SAVAŞ, one of the parties to the absolute nullity lawsuit, will issue a ‘convention cannot be held’ formal notice to the CHP Headquarters through his lawyer.

THE CLAIM THAT LÜTFÜ SAVAŞ WILL SEND A FORMAL NOTICE
While it is stated that the matter could be taken to court again if the nullity administration does not decide on an extraordinary convention within four days as required by the party charter, Fatih Atik used the following expressions in his social media post:
"Convention war in CHP... Formal notice from Lütfü Savaş to CHP Headquarters: “You cannot hold a convention”
Former Hatay Metropolitan Mayor LÜTFÜ SAVAŞ, one of the parties to the absolute nullity lawsuit, will issue a ‘convention cannot be held’ formal notice to the CHP Headquarters through his lawyer. Özgür Özel and his colleagues had requested an extraordinary convention with the signatures they collected. Özel and his team, who announced that they would go to court if the headquarters did not accept their demands, continue to insist on an extraordinary convention.
The move against Özel came from Lütfü Savaş. Savaş, who sent a formal notice to the CHP Headquarters through lawyers, will say ‘a convention cannot be held.’
“We formally notify that no ordinary or extraordinary convention process should be initiated, no convention calendar should be announced, no signature processes should be operated, and no convention should be convened by the Republican People's Party until the ongoing trials are finalized, existing injunctions are lifted, and a final judgment is rendered regarding the disputes subject to the lawsuit.”
Looking at the developments, Özel and his friends have no choice but to form a new party. Comments are being made that every passing day works against them. We will see the public response when the new party is established. It is not a convention but an election that will resolve the infighting in the CHP."
