The 'Asset freezing decision' prepared by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance has entered into force: Numerous individuals and organizations

According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, the assets of 43 individuals and organizations determined to be affiliated with terrorist organizations have been frozen.

The "Asset Freezing Decision" prepared by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance has been published in the Official Gazette and has entered into force.

ASSETS OF 43 INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS FROZEN

Based on the existence of reasonable grounds that they have committed acts falling within the scope of the crime of "financing of terrorism" under the Law on the Prevention of the Financing of Terrorism; the assets of 7 individuals affiliated with the PKK/KCK terrorist organization, 22 individuals affiliated with the ISIS and Al-Qaeda terrorist organizations, and 1 individual affiliated with the FETÖ/PDY terrorist organization have been frozen.

Furthermore, a decision was made to freeze the assets of 5 legal entities and organizations affiliated with the PKK/KCK terrorist organization and 9 legal entities and organizations affiliated with the FETÖ/PDY terrorist organization.

The decision was signed by Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya and Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek.
