Asset jab at Turgut Altınok on 'Mevzular Açık Mikrofon': 'You seem to be neighbors with all of Ankara'
It was revealed that Turgut Altınok, the People's Alliance candidate for Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB), who disclosed his assets weeks after ABB Mayor Mansur Yavaş, owns 600 apartments. Altınok, a guest on the 'Mevzular Açık Mikrofon Local Election Special' hosted by Oğuzhan Uğur on the Gain platform, was jabbed by an audience member over his assets.
The new guest on Mevzular Açık Mikrofon Local Election Special, broadcast on the Gain platform and hosted by Oğuzhan Uğur, was Turgut Altınok, the People's Alliance candidate for Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor.
Responding to a question about his assets, Altınok said, "You stated how much the metropolitan mayor bought it for in London. Altınok does not have a house in London. We are children of this land. There are no shady dealings with Altınok; he is a straightforward man." An audience member's reply of "Good for you, Turkey needs people like this" caused laughter in the hall.
"YOU SEEM TO BE NEIGHBORS WITH ALL OF ANKARA"
When an audience member criticized him by saying, "There are no trash containers anywhere in Keçiören," Altınok asked, "Which neighborhood do you live in?" The audience member replied: "I am in Tepebaşı, I am your neighbor. Although, with your assets, you seem to be neighbors with all of Ankara."
