Assets of 7 people seized in drug investigation targeting celebrities

An important development has occurred in the operation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, known in the public eye as the "drug investigation targeting celebrities." A decision was made to seize the assets of 7 individuals who have arrest warrants issued against them and have been determined to be abroad.

NAMES WHOSE ASSETS WERE SEIZED

Within the scope of the investigation, the assets of Kasım Garipoğlu, Fatih Garipoğlu, Burak Ateş, Ayşegül Şeynova, Gökmen Kadir Şeynova, Mert Vidinli, and Ezgi Fındık were seized due to the crime of laundering assets derived from criminal activity.

OPERATIONS TARGETING CELEBRITIES CONTINUE

Within the framework of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, many operations have been carried out since October 8. In these operations, many famous names known to the public, from musicians to business people and managers, have provided statements. Furthermore, these individuals contributed to the investigation by providing blood and hair samples regarding drug use.

During the investigation process, some suspects were arrested. The details of these arrests have not yet been disclosed. On the other hand, it was reported that the investigation is ongoing and that operations will continue.
