Attack on Halk TV building: Suspect taken into custody

The statement reported that an investigation was launched regarding the 'property damage' incident carried out against a national channel operating in Maltepe Neighborhood at approximately 11:00 today, stating, "In the investigations conducted, it was determined that the individual identified as Y.P., who was found to have entered the channel's premises, used profanities towards employees and damaged the channel's equipment; the individual was apprehended at the scene and taken into custody."
ATTACKER HAS 16 CRIMINAL RECORDS
The statement noted that it was determined the suspect has a total of 16 records for crimes including "intentional injury," "breach of trust," and "possession of drugs for personal use," and it was also recorded that the suspect was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of apprehension.
The statement reported that the investigation proceedings regarding the suspect are ongoing.
