TEAMS BECAME SUSPICIOUS

Municipal police teams on duty at the Kastamonu Intercity Bus Terminal discovered meat in bags that did not comply with hygiene conditions during their inspections.

BROUGHT FROM ADANA

In their investigation, the teams determined that the meat had been brought to Kastamonu from Adana by bus and had not been stored properly. Subsequently, teams from the Kastamonu Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry arrived at the Intercity Bus Terminal to examine the meat.

75 KILOGRAMS OF HORSE MEAT

Following the examinations, the 75 kilograms of meat, suspected to be horse meat, were confiscated by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry teams. Furthermore, the teams filed a criminal complaint with the Kastamonu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the individuals involved in the incident.
