The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning for storms and thunderstorms in the Coastal Aegean and western Marmara regions.

According to the statement, heavy thunderstorms are expected after midnight in Çanakkale and the western districts of Balıkesir; starting tomorrow morning in the surroundings of Edirne and Kırklareli; and by the afternoon, strong thunderstorms are expected in the surroundings of İzmir and Aydın and western Manisa, with very strong thunderstorms forecast for the western districts of Balıkesir, the southeast of Çanakkale, and Muğla.

The wind is also expected to blow strongly from southern directions, with short-term storm conditions.
