Aydın Doğan Institute of Communication closed by Erdoğan's signature
The Boğaziçi University Aydın Doğan Institute of Communication has been closed by the signature of AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan. It has been replaced by the Institute of Film and Media Studies.
A presidential decree regarding the opening and closing of certain faculties, institutes, and colleges has been published in the Official Gazette.
Accordingly, the Boğaziçi University Aydın Doğan Institute of Communication has been closed.
Also by presidential decree, the 'Institute of Film and Media Studies' has been established at Boğaziçi University.
