Ayşe Ateş: If the second file is closed, none of us are safe; 'There is a death list in preparation'

Describing her dissatisfaction with the decisions made in the Sinan Ateş case with the words, "None of our requests were met. While the separated file should have been merged, attempts were made to prevent us from speaking about the suspects in that file. The prosecution should have been expanded. As it stands, it has been a half-finished trial," Ateş participated in a live broadcast on Sözcü TV.

Ateş pointed to the danger of closing the second file separated in the case without reaching a resolution and used the following expressions:

The real instigators are the political wing; there are those with immunity in this file. There is a structure that has infiltrated the MHP, and this structure is actually challenging even Erdoğan. If this file is closed, no one on the street is safe; if this file is not taken off the shelf and tried, a great climate of fear will be created for everyone.

We are receiving reports that they are preparing death lists; it has come to our ears that they will implement the death list once they get that power in their hands. Our state cannot carry this burden on its back any longer; the black stain smeared on its forehead must be resolved as soon as possible...

Devlet Bahçeli, who spoke with the President, says the trial will continue and we respect the judiciary's decision; he is not referring to the appellate or supreme court here, he is pointing to the second file being taken off the shelf and concluded.

Devlet Bahçeli learned everything after the incident; it is impossible for him not to know, but the reason he persistently tries to get in front of this trial is, in my personal opinion, the thought that the MHP and the Idealist Hearths (Ülkü Ocakları) will be harmed... He is at the head of the party and is acting with the thought that it will be harmed; many MHP names are mentioned in the file.

But how much more damage can the MHP's name take? He used to call Sinan 'my son'; they made us experience very heavy things, but the consequences of this will be very heavy for the criminals. 

We have no business with the MHP and the Idealist Hearths; our business is with the criminals...

There were MHP deputies who offered their condolences. There is great political pressure on them.

They have left the Idealists under suspicion. The Idealists will also hold the criminals accountable for this. 

The criminal organization involved in the murder must be scraped and removed from within the MHP and the Idealist Hearths.
