Former Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yıldırım has issued a statement regarding the widely circulated reports titled "A 9 Million Gesture from Aziz Yıldırım to Mesut Özil."
In his statement, Aziz Yıldırım said the following:
"The report published in today's Kelebek supplement of Hürriyet newspaper, under the byline of Mehmet Üstündağ, titled 'A 9 Million Gesture from Aziz Yıldırım to Mesut Özil,' is completely false.
I have not seen Mesut Özil for a long time. What purpose are you serving with these types of stories, which are devoid of all moral values and fabricated solely for the sake of selling more copies?
I state that I will exercise my legal rights regarding this entirely untrue report, and I request that the public not give credence to such fake news."
