In Güngören, Istanbul, 17-year-old Atlas Çağlayan was stabbed to death by 15-year-old perpetrator E.Ç. following an altercation allegedly sparked by a "look" dispute.

Atlas, who was rushed to the hospital by ambulance, lost his life. E.Ç., who murdered Atlas, has been arrested. This brutal incident, which has dominated the public agenda, brought to mind the murder of Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi.

CNN Türk visited the home of Atlas Çağlayan's grieving family to conduct an interview. The expressions used by reporter Merve Tokaz at the beginning and end of the report sparked reactions.

Tokaz had previously claimed that she was being targeted and receiving death threats due to a report she made regarding Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran, who was summoned to testify as part of a drug investigation.
