Bad news from AKP regarding holiday bonuses for retirees: Abdullah Güler announced

AKP Group Chairman Abdullah Güler attended a press conference regarding the Climate Law proposal, where he answered journalists' questions and made several statements.

The retiree holiday bonus is deposited into accounts twice every year. While it rose to 3,000 liras last year with a 50% increase, the increase to be made this year has not yet been determined.

"WE DO NOT HAVE ANY WORK ON THIS YET"

Responding to a question regarding the retiree holiday bonus, Güler stated that there is no such work on their agenda yet.

"THEY CALL GIVING ADVICE FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION"

Güler also responded to a question regarding the investigation launched into TÜSİAD Board Chairman Orhan Turan and High Advisory Council Chairman Ömer Arif Aras.

Abdullah Güler noted that everyone in Turkey chooses to lecture others instead of focusing on their own work:

"Now friends, unfortunately, instead of focusing on their own primary work in Turkey, everyone tries to present giving advice to others or lecturing them as a method, like freedom of expression or freedom of thought. It could be, that is, it could be within the scope of freedom of expression or freedom of thought. Well, these friends at TÜSİAD have lawyers, they have consultants. Turkey's effective struggle also caused it to be removed from the grey list in the previous period. We got off the grey list.

Why don't they make a statement on this issue because of our effective struggle? Why doesn't TÜSİAD make a statement, friends, even though it directly concerns their own field, regarding the legislation in terms of the law on combating organized crime, combating the financing of terrorism, and the TMSF (Savings Deposit Insurance Fund) being appointed as a trustee by the courts in case of a criminal investigation?

Then they make a statement like this: 'Sir, we don't know if they are guilty or innocent.' Investigations are confidential in accordance with public procedure regarding criminal subjects. I don't know either. Look, I don't know about an investigation into them right now, I don't know the content."
