Bahçeli distributes lokma for Ferdi Tayfur

Eyyup Yıldız, an advisor to MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, announced on his social media account that Bahçeli had lokma distributed at the MHP Headquarters.

Yıldız's post is as follows: "Our Nationalist Movement Party Chairman, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli, has had lokma served at the MHP Headquarters to commemorate the cherished memory of the late artist Ferdi Tayfur, who held a place in the hearts of the Turkish people. This meaningful event, as a manifestation of the Turkish nation's sense of loyalty and gratitude, has once again demonstrated our commitment to our national and spiritual values.

Such acts of charity and sharing, which hold an important place in our traditions, are among the values that keep the spirit of unity and solidarity of our nation alive.

On this occasion, we once again wish God's mercy upon the late Ferdi Tayfur and extend our condolences to his family and loved ones."

BAHÇELİ HAD EXPRESSED HIS SORROW 

Bahçeli, known for his love for Ferdi Tayfur, said in a condolence message published after the news of his passing, "I cannot find the words to describe or express my sorrow. Words are stuck in my throat. The passing of Ferdi Tayfur has taken a piece of me away."
