Bahçeli hits back hard at reports of 'bargaining' in his 'Terror-Free Turkey' message: 'Those who claim this are slanderers'

MHP Chairman Bahçeli's statements are as follows:

The Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance are the political and intellectual dome of a passionate understanding that has succeeded and will continue to succeed in passing the heavy test of love for the flag, the homeland, and the nation with flying colors.

Being the voice and word of truth in favor of our people without faltering, stumbling, or falling into contradiction is, above all, a requirement of loyalty to our blessed ancestors.

The Turkish nation is as noble and precious as it is endowed with dignity and loyalty.

It is neither possible nor appropriate for anyone to measure up to, arm-wrestle, or compete with our party and the People's Alliance within the framework of national and spiritual issues.

If we set aside some negative and isolated reactions regarding the goal of a 'Terror-Free Turkey,' it will be clearly seen how solid, healthy, and sincere the steps taken are.

In the new century of the Republic of Turkey, peace and security will prevail, prosperity and stability will come to the fore, and national unity and brotherhood will certainly gain deep-rooted substance.

The destiny of the homeland geography we live on will not be determined or fortified on the basis of hostility and betrayal, but with the cherished wisdom and honorable morality of living together.

It will never be a question of traditional crisis centers, which profit from strife and chaos, blocking Turkey's path or hindering its blessed march.

A NEW PHASE HAS BEEN ENTERED WITH THE PKK BURNING ITS WEAPONS

The Turkish nation has made its decision and, through its enthusiasts gathered under the roof of the People's Alliance, has equipped and formed its dignified will within the context of the concrete realities of life.

A new phase has been entered with the separatist terrorist organization PKK burning its weapons.

The "Call for Peace and Democratic Society," which came to the agenda with the February 27 Imrali statement, has yielded results, and the organization has announced its decision to dissolve, moving to the stage of bidding farewell to arms.

It has certainly become an inevitable necessity for this difficult stage to be concluded within the framework of the determined calendar and roadmap without being subjected to any provocation, and to be completed with the burning of the very last weapon.

A 'Terror-Free Turkey' is the secure and competent safeguarding of today and the future with the harsh and arduous lessons learned from the past.

For those who cannot keep up with Turkey's new circumstances and conditions, and who are caught unprepared and disorganized by the dizzying developments, hoping for lies and slanders and accelerating black propaganda is, in a sense, a requirement of their corrupted nature.

THOSE WHO CLAIM THE STATE IS BARGAINING ARE SLANDERERS

Those who claim that the state is bargaining are slanderers.

To argue that a 'give-and-take' process is being operated, or that a terrorist organization that has dissolved itself is moving to a higher stage and gaining new advantages, is a cowardly distortion.

Moreover, those who label the process as a 'made-up Treaty of Sèvres' without even reading a single article of the Treaty of Sèvres, and who attempt to interpret it as such, have fallen into a pit of shame.

Beyond that, the claim that "they are dismissing lieutenants, they are recruiting PKK members into the army" is a mouth that even puts the enemy to shame.

The food supply of those who see terrorism as a source of livelihood has run out, and their valve has been closed.

The water of those who produce politics from blood, tears, and polarization has been cut off, and their hopes have been dashed.

The fact that those who have difficulty adapting and transitioning to Turkey's new era explain in delusion and defeat that the state is in a cycle of concession and surrender is proof and evidence that they are doomed to have their feet burned and suffer from burnout syndrome.

It is by no means a coincidence that shortly after a group of PKK members burned their weapons on July 11, Israel directly attacked the environment of peace and tranquility of the neighboring Syrian Arab Republic, which is hanging by a thread.

Furthermore, the fact that the PYD/YPG is dragging its feet on implementing the memorandum of understanding signed with the Damascus administration on March 10, 2025, and is unwilling to keep its promises, is a purposeful and morbid impasse that should be considered in the same cluster as the Israeli attack.

It is clear that Israel, which spreads discord between the Druze and Arab tribes in southern Syria and bombs Damascus by taking advantage of the chaos, has descended to a level lower than terrorist organizations.

Zionist vandalism has sabotaged the goal of a 'Terror-Free Turkey' and the region, and has expanded the spiral of brutality to build the chaos corridor planned along the south and north of Syria by force of arms.

The political and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic is a principled stance and policy of our country that cannot be thought of as being violated or denied.

It is beyond any explanation where Israel wants to reach with its so-called "David Corridor," and that it is willing to take advantage of all kinds of baseness to reach the Anatolian borders and then hold on there.

The expectation and demand in this direction by a known Druze sheikh who is an Israeli collaborator also contain extreme threats.

The corridor that will open to the north from Suwayda, which is at the center of the conflicts, is a devil's corridor; it is the division of Syria and the targeting of Turkey.

It would be in the best interest of the PYD/YPG terrorist organization to act in support of the February 27 Imrali call without falling into the Zionist trap and without being deceived by maximalist ambitions.

If Zionism, which has been poisoning our geography since 3000 B.C. and causing unrest with increasing violence and scale, continues this way, it is destined to come face to face with the Turkish nation, which has carried the honor of defending oppressed nations in its conscience for centuries.

Approximately 400 square kilometers of Syrian territory have been usurped by Israeli occupation.

The rogue state of Israel has established 10 military bases on these lands.

Israel is the number one center of instability in our region and for world peace.

It is now a requirement of justice and humanity for the U.S. to support regional peace and tranquility with a fair, equitable, and balanced policy, and to withdraw from behind Israel.

While these are happening, the United Nations is in a state of helplessness.

More than that, just as it has lost its founding purpose and function, the Security Council is only busy stalling.

The more pathetic part of the issue is that the United Nations is effectively null and void.

Those who act as spears for Zionism and imperialism will get what they deserve in the face of global justice and conscience.

ISRAEL MUST PAY THE PRICE

Israel must be stopped, Israel must be made to regret, Israel must pay the price.

The Turkish state mind possesses the power and capability to ensure how this will happen and how its paths and methods will be provided in the most effective way.

I want it to be known that those who want to overshadow our President's historic statement at the Kızılcahamam Camp during a period when dangers are so acute are, if not ignorant, then externally connected 'mankurts' (brainwashed individuals).

The address of our honor of belonging is the Turkish nation.

Another historical and theological truth is that we are part of the Islamic Ummah.

As our late thinker Ziya Gökalp said, "We are from the Turkish nation, we are from the Islamic Ummah."

Turks, Kurds, and Arabs protecting their existence and unity; resisting Zionist and imperialist conspiracies and traps, and breaking cruel games will encompass and revive the golden age of the Turkish-Islamic world, a paradise on earth.

There is no historical, sociological, or objective basis for the parasites who are offended by this to criticize by wrapping the word 'Ummah' around their tongues.

In this context, it is useful for those who pose as nationalists to first clarify which nation they are nationalists of, whose mill they are turning, and which sedition they are the forward outpost of.

Slandering the Nationalist Movement Party and raising a hue and cry about resignations from some newspaper headlines is a dishonorable calumny.

The political brand and symbol of Turkish nationalism is the Nationalist Movement Party.

It is not the business of any impure lineage to put the homeland and nation love of our party and the People's Alliance to the test.

Tearing up the commissioned scenarios of those who calculate the destruction of Turkish-Kurdish brotherhood is also the unswerving goal of our ideology and political struggle.

I express my gratitude to everyone who contributed, especially our leader Alparslan Türkeş Bey, who started a very difficult, arduous, and honorable national service 56 years ago, like laying the foundation of a cause and creating a great plane tree from a seed.

I wish God's mercy upon those who are no longer with us and our martyrs.

I wish long and healthy lives to those who are alive.

I am grateful that they appeared exactly when history needed them;

That they had a say in the destiny of the Turkish nation at the right time.

I greet with affection and longing all the heroes—women, men, young, and old—who have provided a new vision and enabled the Turkish nation to look at its own essence and future through a completely different educational path.

Our party's yesterday was them, today they have become it. Tomorrow they will be it too.

All our efforts and hopes are for them.

We have been in the political arena for the last 56 years of the 102 years of our Republic.

We have left our mark on Turkish politics as a mainstream political field for 56 of the 79 years of multi-party life.

Whether directly in politics as a partner in several governments;

Whether indirectly as a dynamic force in the opposition;

Whether in the dimension of thought as the representative of national and nationalism in the Turkish world;

As a school of politics around the cadres it has trained and the field of ideas it has created;

As a school of thought taken as an example in terms of attitude, interpretation, and stance against what is not national;

We have managed to maintain our existence to this day as a hearth burning in the homes of those who feel the love of their nation in their hearts in every corner of our country.

We will hopefully embrace the Turkish and Turkey Century with my valuable fellow travelers who live, continue to live, and will continue to live the idea of Turkish nationalism, which finds its source in the Turkish-Islamic Ideal, under the roof of our party.

Having found its first excitement in the three crescents as the driving dynamo of Turkish nationalism;

Having taken the spark of love for homeland and nation in its heart from the light of the three crescents,

Our love and respect remain for all children of the nation whose unchanging sensitivity is the Turkish nation, regardless of the political party they belong to.

We would certainly have liked them to be with us in this tremendous struggle.

We would have wished for every support they give to contribute to our blessed cause.

However, as a famous thinker suggested;

They wanted to experience for themselves that no wind will help ships that do not know which port they are going to.

The appreciation and preference are theirs.

No matter who says what in which corners,

We possess every wealth that a strong political movement should have.

Our ideas are deep-rooted and strong.

Our organization is widespread and powerful.

Our cadres are mature and brave.

Our policy is precise and consistent.

Our morality is clean and upright.

Ideologies cover the theoretical field of the order and social life that an ideology dreams of becoming.

It is possible to call this the field of values.

Love and concern for the homeland, nation, and flag, and faith;

The expectation of a stronger country falls into this field of values.

Politics in the field of values will undoubtedly create a more loyal, more sincere, and more sensible base.

We have no doubt about this.

Because;

Ideals, aspirations, and longings are like stars.

Even if we know we cannot reach them, finding our direction by looking at them is a reality of life and politics.

MHP IS MORE EFFECTIVE TODAY THAN YESTERDAY

The Nationalist Movement Party is more effective today than it was yesterday.

It should not be expected that those who serve national unity and solidarity, and who see the honor of the cause as a matter of life and death, will fall into contradiction and error.

The Nationalist Movement Party and the People's Alliance are commissioned to fulfill the love of serving the Turkish nation with due diligence and are sworn to carry this out to the end.

Our meetings, centered in 9 provinces to cover all 81 of our provinces with the aim of explaining the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process to our people, will begin in Erzurum on August 9, 2025.

With the theme "National Unity and Solidarity Meetings for a Terror-Free Turkey - Century-Old Unity, Eternal Brotherhood," we will travel throughout our homeland with a compassionate and embracing political style and explain our thoughts.

This will be another agenda item at today's joint MYK-MDK meeting.

We will give all our support to the commission that is on the agenda to be established in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

We will see one by one and certainly how the opposition, which unfairly turned even the LGS (High School Entrance Exam) into a subject of political exploitation and played with the dreams of our children, fell into the bottomless pits it dug.

To those who say that concessions are being made from the Turkish nation, we will continue to read the epic of the Turkish nation in the new century as well.

To those who say a Republic without Turks, we will continue to resolutely show that we are the survival of Turkishness and the unyielding defender of the thousand-year brotherhood.

Let it not be forgotten that the line of the Nationalist Movement Party is clear, its principles are lucid, its ideal is great, its moral and political heritage is like steel, and these have not changed.

No matter who gambles on Turkish-Kurdish brotherhood, we will stand tall against all of them to the end and we will certainly break their calculations.
