MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli visited the Special Operations Department.

During the welcome ceremony for Bahçeli, it was observed that Special Operations Chief Süleyman Karadeniz kissed Devlet Bahçeli's hand.

Bahçeli, who arrived at the Special Operations Department in the Gölbaşı district, was welcomed by Director General of Security Erol Ayyıldız and his accompanying delegation.

After laying a wreath at the Special Operations Monument with the inscription "The nation is grateful to you," Bahçeli offered a prayer.

Bahçeli, who saluted the special operations police officers, left the compound after meeting with Ayyıldız and those accompanying him for a while.

CHP Deputy Chairman responsible for the Ministry of Interior and İzmir MP Murat Bakan criticized the footage of the MHP Chairman's hand being kissed in a post on his social media account with the following words:

That uniform he is wearing represents the State of the Republic of Turkey.

The state's police and military do not kiss the hands or hems of a political party leader, nor do they bow before them.

The Turkish police and military always hold their heads high.

If police and soldiers start kissing hands, this country is prone to experiencing more July 15ths.

This police chief should be retired immediately.
