The election calendar announced by the Supreme Election Council (YSK) continues to proceed.
According to the calendar, a drawing of lots will be held tomorrow at the YSK headquarters, with the participation of party representatives, to determine the positions of the political parties participating in the election on the combined ballot paper.
36 parties that have the eligibility to participate in the election will be able to enter the drawing.
At the top of the combined ballot papers to be used in the mayoral election, the phrase "Political Parties" or, if there are independent candidates, "Political Parties and Independent Candidates" will appear. Based on the result of the draw, the names and surnames of the parties and their candidates will be listed on the ballot from left to right.
On the other hand, the Innovation Party (Yenilik Partisi), which is among the 36 parties eligible to participate in the election, had previously notified the YSK that it would not participate in the Local Administration General Elections.
