A banner hung at the historic campus entrance of Istanbul Technical University (ITU) has sparked controversy.
It is estimated that the banner, which bears the words "Turkey belongs to Muslims, you will not bark," was hung on the wall during the night. While it is not yet clear who hung the banner, it quickly became a trending topic on social media.
On the other hand, there has been no official statement regarding the matter from the university administration or relevant official institutions yet.
