Batuhan Çolak, the manager of the media platform "Aykırı," who was detained on allegations of "publicly disseminating misleading information" due to a social media post, has been referred to the courthouse.
The police procedures at the station for Batuhan Çolak, who was detained yesterday by Istanbul Police Department teams following a post on the X social media platform by an account user claiming, "Controversial images from Syria. They made a Turkish soldier kiss the FSA flag!", have been completed.
After undergoing a health check, Çolak was sent to the courthouse.
In the investigation conducted by Istanbul Police Department teams, it was determined that the social media account user who made the post in question was Batuhan Çolak, who has a criminal record for the crimes of "unlawful use of personal data" and "inciting the public to hatred and hostility."
Çolak was detained yesterday to face proceedings for the crime of "publicly disseminating misleading information."
