Batuhan Çolak released
Batuhan Çolak, the manager of the media platform "Aykırı," who was detained on allegations of "publicly spreading misleading information" through a social media post, has been released under judicial control.
The police procedures at the station for Batuhan Çolak, who was detained yesterday by Istanbul Police Department teams following a post on the social media platform X by the account user Aykırı@aykiricomtr titled "Controversial footage from Syria. They made a Turkish soldier kiss an FSA flag!", have been completed.
After undergoing a health check, Çolak was sent to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan.
Giving his statement at the Press Crimes Investigation Bureau, Çolak was referred to the on-duty criminal judgeship of peace with a request for judicial control measures.
Following the proceedings at the judgeship, Çolak was released under the condition of judicial control, which includes signing in at a police station once a week.
