Behind the scenes of Yaşar Kemal Uğurlu's resignation... Casino footage emerges!
It has been stated that there are new details behind the resignation of FIFA-badged referee Yaşar Kemal Uğurlu. It was determined that the casino footage that reached the Central Referee Board (MHK) was authentic.
The decision to quit refereeing by Yaşar Kemal Uğurlu, a referee who reached a significant point in his career by wearing the FIFA badge, has brought remarkable allegations with it. According to information shared by İbrahim Seten on the Saha Dışı program broadcast on Tv100, footage of Uğurlu taken in a casino reached the Central Referee Board (MHK).
THE FOOTAGE TURNED OUT TO BE REAL
The MHK examined the authenticity of the photos received, and as a result of technical analyses, it was confirmed that the footage was not edited. Following this, the MHK held a meeting with Yaşar Kemal Uğurlu.

HE WAS ASKED TO DOCUMENT HIS EXPENSES
At the meeting, Uğurlu was told, "This is your private life, we do not interfere with it. However, prove that you stayed at this hotel with your own money, provide a document." However, Uğurlu could not present any document proving that he paid for his hotel expenses out of his own pocket.

NO RECORD OF HIM BEING IN CYPRUS
On the other hand, it emerged that there was no official entry record indicating that the referee was in Northern Cyprus. This situation also drew the attention of Süper Lig clubs, and some clubs demanded an explanation from the MHK regarding the matter.
HE QUIT REFEREEING
Following these developments, the MHK decided to demote Yaşar Kemal Uğurlu's classification. After this decision, Uğurlu announced that he had quit refereeing in a statement he made on February 5, 2025.
