As a result of efforts to apprehend wanted individuals, Provincial Police Department teams captured a Belgian citizen identified as H.Ç., who was wanted by INTERPOL-EUROPOL with a red notice for "Drug Trafficking and Illegal Criminal Organization Activities," and handed the individual over to the relevant unit.
In a statement regarding the matter, department officials said, "As the Provincial Police Department, as a result of our efforts to apprehend wanted individuals, a Belgian citizen identified as H.Ç., who was wanted by INTERPOL-EUROPOL with a red notice for 'Drug Trafficking and Illegal Criminal Organization Activities,' was captured and taken into custody by our units on July 8, 2024, on the Alaca road in our province, following a joint operation. After the necessary legal procedures, the individual was handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management for deportation proceedings."
