Bella Hadid shares 'Palestine' post

Hadid, known for her strong support for Palestine, shared an image on her Instagram account of a hand painted in the shape of a watermelon slice—a symbol of Palestinian resistance—with the words "Palestine belongs to the Palestinians" written on it.

In the post, emphasizing that Palestine has always belonged to the Palestinians, Hadid wrote, "It always was and it always will be."

Pointing out that the roots belonging to Palestinian culture, lineage, and history "cannot be uprooted by any power, money, or person," Hadid said, "The depth of the truth held by the Palestinian people will always live on. And we will never forget that."

Stating that Palestinians affected by the attacks in Gaza and the West Bank deserve to have basic human rights, Hadid remarked, "They deserve the freedom to come and go as they please. They deserve to remain connected to the land where their ancestors have lived, loved, and built their families and communities for hundreds of years. They should not have to live under fear, humiliation, or occupation."
