Beren Saat defends actors who supported boycott call

Famous actress Beren Saat has defended her fellow actors who supported the boycott calls spreading on social media. Supporting Aybüke Pusat, Furkan Andıç, Boran Kuzum, and Başak Gümülcinelioğlu, whose employment was terminated by TRT, Saat emphasized that they are 'well-intentioned people.'

Making a statement via the social media platform Instagram, Beren Saat used the following expressions:

“I am saddened to learn that my friends have been removed from projects, their accounts have been restricted, they have been detained, and investigations against them are increasing. However, far from inciting the public to hatred and hostility, these people are talented and well-intentioned individuals who want the best for Turkey. I vouch for them.”

DISMISSED FROM TRT

Following the removal of actors who participated in the 'We Are Not Buying on April 2nd!' boycott calls from TRT productions, a series of support statements have come from famous names. After Aybüke Pusat, Furkan Andıç, Boran Kuzum, and Başak Gümülcinelioğlu were removed from their projects at TRT, Beren Saat did not leave her fellow actors alone.
