Voting in the primary for Ekrem İmamoğlu, the sole candidate for the presidential nomination in the CHP, began at 08:00. Following the arrest warrant issued for İmamoğlu, citizens showed intense interest in the ballot boxes.
While voting was underway, artist Berna Laçin was hospitalized after falling ill following the arrest of Ekrem İmamoğlu.
In a post on her social media account, Laçin stated that her condition was poor, saying, "Friends, this is my situation (I had said I cannot digest this)."
Asking those waiting at the polls whether the voting hours had been extended, Laçin stated that she would go to vote after leaving the hospital and asked for the location of the nearest polling station.

(I had said I cannot digest this )
Is there any possibility of extending the voting hours, could those in line ask?
Once the IV drip is finished I will go, where is the nearest one to Memorial Hospital? pic.twitter.com/lhJWeTugHr
