The Kırıkkale Provincial Police Department has warned citizens against the recent rise in "phishing" messages. It was stated that people should be cautious of messages sent with phrases such as "Your account may have been accessed by someone else, recover your account."
In a statement made by the Kırıkkale Provincial Police Department, it was emphasized that citizens should be cautious against baseless content sent under the guise of "account recovery" that mimics global companies.
It was stated that personal information should never be shared on pages directed through fake links.
Attention was drawn to the importance of using strong passwords for account security and changing these passwords regularly.
Citizens were asked to be cautious against such fraud attempts and to immediately contact the 112 Emergency Call Center when they encounter suspicious messages.
